1.  EDILRESINE CHEMICAL  solve problems created by infiltrations or cracks in constructions, such as buildings, palaces, monuments, tunnels, bridges, dams, etc.

Some examples of problems solved by EDILRESINE CHEMICAL:

• Ancient building (XVII Century). Walls thickness 70 to80 cm built and filled with stones, bricks, sand and a full cocktail of different materials, which lost their cohesion.
• Railway Bridge , built almost 100 years ago. Crossed by over 250 trains every day.
• Modern building, traditional structure as a concrete cage, filled up with brick walls between pillars. An earthquake did not damage the concrete cage but the brick walls were no longer solidly connected to the structure.

Solutions:

• EDILRESINE CHEMICAL perforated the XVII century walls, one whole each feet and filled them up. The building, already “condemned” to destruction, was totally recuperated and people went back and live in it, as far as the Municipality certified it as civilian home
• The bridge is situated along an important line, it is impossible to destroy it without creating a bypass. This would provoke economic and bureaucratic problems, which would take years to be solved. EDILRESINE CHEMICAL have fully recuperated the bridge without interruption of the railway service
• They had to demolish the existing brick walls and built them again. EDILRESINE CHEMICAL recuperated the monolithic structure of the existing building.

3.  EDILRESINE CHEMICAL, at the beginning of their intervention, inspects the existing structure. They need not demolishing a part of it “to look inside”, as far as they use endoscopes, inside the existing cracks, connected with a camera terminal allowing recording all that is necessary.

4. The intervention begins after the plan has been established, using tubes of several sizes, some of them very small. The substances are injected under permanent pressure through a series of micro-cuts along the tubes. This condition allows substances penetrating inside any minimal existing opening, even 0,1 mm.

5.  As soon as the substances solidify they re-establish the monolithic structure of the treated structure. This is not the case of a “third” material, gluing together two separated parts. The material unifies again the two parts separated by the crack and the wall is again a unit.

6.  Infiltration of water inside one tunnel of “Eurostar” High Speed Train between Rome and Naples . As far as “Eurostar”, on that line, do not travel between 23 and 6 thanks to EDILRESINE CHEMICAL it was possible solving the problem completely, with no interruption of the train service. It is easy to imagine the possible kind and extent of problems created by an intervention with traditional systems.

7.  Cathedrals in Umbria region, damaged by earthquakes in 1997 and 1998. Cracks extended on walls, structures, cupolas. EDILRESINE CHEMICAL totally recuperated all structures, without any further damage, thus allowing the total restoration of precious, unique frescoes.

At present, it is possible finding alternative proposals on the market, which, on the other hand, do not guarantee a solution “once and for all”. There always is a “third” substance, used to join the two other parts again. EDILRESINE CHEMICAL recovers the monolithic structure, “as if the problem never existed”.
